A Lens On Community & COVID
Our communities across Highland are currently living though a difficult and challenging time . As in many crisis situations there are people, groups and initiatives who, by undertaking selfless and compassionate acts, are an inspiration and lifeline to others.
To support a fuller understanding of the impact of community action in light of the crisis, the Highland Third Sector Interface are inviting individuals, community groups and charities to capture images of community action, individual acts and moments of inspiration. The images will be used to understand and form a record of the role that volunteers, key workers, families and the wider community have had in keeping people safe and connected throughout.
One submission from each category will be selected to receive a framed copy of the photo and a gift hamper. They will also be able to nominate a charity or community group to receive a £50 donation, or in the case of the Community Hero they shall also receive a gift directly.
